About Us

About AACCOT

The Assyrian American Civic Club Of Turlock (AACCOT)[1] is a non-profit organization with its objective and focus on our people, our community and our country. We believe in the principles of freedom, democracy and instill the meaning of the United States Constitution among our Assyrian people. We strive to instill among our Assyrian people a sense of of individual obligation and responsibility and unity. The AACCOT is dedicated in promoting goodwill and understanding among Assyrians and non-Assyrians alike. We take pride in our heritage and are proud of our ancestors for being the first to start the civilization as we know it. Our ancestors were also the first that converted to Christianity and still speak an Aramaic dialect similar to our Savior Jesus Christ. Our main objective is to promote unity, education, good citizenship among all people and maintain prosperity and peace for all.

[1] The Assyrian American Civic Club of Turlock, Inc was established on October 29, 1946 and was chartered on January 31, 1947 in the City of Turlock, Stanislaus County. This Corporation is organized exclusively for Charitable and Educational Purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954.
